Installation work, sent to your shop

We sell tires and wheels online and send the installation to shops like yours — and we put your shop and your used stock in front of customers searching for them, so you never need a website of your own. You set your own prices, you keep your own customers, and it costs nothing to join.

How it works

1

A customer buys online

They pick tires or wheels on tread-os.com, choose your shop for the install, and pay for everything up front — product and installation together.

2

We ship the parts to you

The order is drop-shipped to your shop with the job details. You are not buying inventory and you are not fronting anything.

3

You do the install

The job board tells you the vehicle, the parts, the sizes and quantities, and anything the job needs before you touch it.

4

You get paid

Mark the job complete and your install fee is sent to you. No invoicing us, no chasing the customer.

We sell the parts. You sell the labour.

We supply the merchandise. Tires and wheels are bought from us by the customer, and we drop-ship them to you. You never buy stock for our orders, never carry the inventory risk, and never wait on us to reimburse a part.

You supply the work, and you price it. Mounting, balancing, torque, disposal — your rates, set by you, per wheel size. We quote your number to the customer exactly as you set it and we never discount it.

If you don't do something, leave it blank. Your pricing grid is also how we know what to send you. A size with no price is a size we never route to you. You are never sent a job you didn't say you could take.

How you get paid

If the customer paid us online — including anything financed: the install is already paid for before the vehicle reaches you. Do not ask for money at the counter. Completed jobs are billed to us and paid out on a weekly run — you are not chasing an invoice, and you can see what is owed at any time.

If the customer chose to pay you directly: you collect at the counter and no money moves through us. The job card tells you which one it is, before you touch the vehicle.

We take no commission on your install work, and no cut of anything else. You are paid the full price you set. There are no listing fees, no processing deduction, no monthly cost, and no minimum volume.

The app — free for your first 120 days

Every partner shop gets the TREAD OS app. Jobs land on a board you work straight from the bay, and closing one out takes a minute on your phone. What it's really doing, though, is building you a record.

Every stage is timestamped as it happens

When the parts arrived, when you accepted the job, when it went in the bay, when it was finished — each one stamped with the time and the person who did it. Not notes written up afterward from memory. A record built while the work is happening, which is the only kind worth anything later.

Road-hazard jobs get enrolled properly, or they don't close

When a customer buys the road-hazard warranty, the job won't close until each tire's DOT code is logged against the corner it went on, with tread depth and the odometer reading. That's the difference between a warranty claim that gets paid and one that turns into an argument months later — and the argument always lands on the shop that fitted them.

Your counter sales, on the same record

The app pairs with a Square terminal, so your own walk-in work rings up through it too — not just the jobs we send you. The sale and the job end up on the same record instead of in two systems you reconcile by hand at the end of the day.

That matters beyond bookkeeping: when the work is documented and the money that paid for it is attached to the same job, you can prove what happened and what was charged from one place — which is exactly what you need when a customer, an insurer, or an attorney asks a year later.

You don't need a website. This is one.

Getting found online normally means paying someone to build a site, paying someone else to keep it current, and then spending on ads to outrank national chains who will always outspend you. Most shops look at that, do the maths, and skip it. Fairly.

Being in the network is your storefront. Your shop, your hours, your install pricing and your used stock all sit on a site customers are already searching — one that is our job to rank, not yours. Nothing for you to build, nothing to maintain, no monthly bill, no webmaster to chase when something changes.

You update your stock or your prices in the app and that is what customers see. That's the whole process.

Your used tires, found by people looking for them

Every set you take off is stock sitting in the back that nobody knows you have. A customer three miles away is searching for that exact size right now and has no way to find out you're holding it.

Log a tire as it comes off. Scan the sidewall, grade the tread, and it's in. It takes seconds, and from that moment your stock is searchable on tread-os.com.

When someone searches that size, we send them to you. Most independent shops have no website and no realistic way to rank for anything. This is customer traffic you cannot earn on your own, for inventory you already own and already paid for.

And it stops the phone from eating your day

Right now finding a used tire means the customer rings round every shop in town, and on your end it means a tech puts down what he's doing, walks to the phone, and goes out to the racks to look — while a job sits open and a customer waits on hold. Half those calls end in "no, not that size." Nobody got paid for any of it.

With your stock in the index, the customer answers that question themselves in about two minutes, on their phone, and turns up already knowing you have it. They stop hunting. Your tech never stops working. The only call you take is the one that was going to be a sale anyway.

Sales that cost you no labour at all

The customer finds your tire, pays for it, and books their own install slot — and nobody at your shop has spoken to them yet. No call taken, no tech pulled off a car, no quoting, no back and forth. The first you know about it is a paid job on your board.

That works at two in the afternoon while every bay is full, and it works at eleven at night when you're closed. Someone with a flat isn't waiting until Tuesday to start calling around — they search, they buy, and you open to money already taken and an install already scheduled. A shop with no website is shut the moment the door locks. Yours isn't.

And they're your tires throughout. You set the price, you keep the customer. We don't take a cut of your used-tire business — we're just the reason they knew to come to you.

The app and these features are rolling out to partner shops — you'll get them as they reach you, and your first 120 days are free. In the meantime your job board runs in any browser, so you can start taking work the day you're approved.

What we ask of you

The price you set is the whole price. It is what the customer is quoted online, and nothing gets added at your counter — that is our promise to them and yours. Price your tiers to include everything the job needs.

To close a job out you confirm the work was done properly: a completion photo, and for road-hazard jobs the tire details recorded. It takes a minute on your phone and it is what lets us stand behind the work to the customer.
