What it costs, where it goes, and what we will not promise you.
| Where we ship | Addresses across the United States |
| Two ways to receive it | To your address, or to an approved install shop in the Denver metro |

| Tracking | Emailed to you once the carrier issues it |
| Delivery dates | We do not promise one — see below for why |
We ship to residential and business addresses across the United States. Orders leave our supplier warehouses and travel by parcel carrier or, for wheel sets and larger tire orders, by freight. Freight needs a street address someone can receive at, so we cannot send those to a PO Box.
In the Denver metro you can choose an approved partner shop at checkout and have the order delivered straight to them. The price you see for that shop includes their work — mounting and balancing — and nothing is added at the counter. The shop confirms your appointment with you.
Tread OS is online-first. We have no walk-in storefront, we hold no stock ourselves, and we do not perform installations — independent partner shops do. Outside the Denver metro we ship to you and you arrange fitting locally.
Shipping is calculated for your specific order — what you bought, how many, and where it is going — and appears in your order summary before you pay. The total on the payment page is the total you are charged.
Wheels are rated individually by the carrier, because a set of four is four heavy parcels rather than one. Distance and whether the address is residential both move the figure, so two orders for the same wheels can legitimately quote differently.
Where no shipping line appears on your summary, there is nothing to pay. We would rather show you a zero by leaving the line off than print a charge you are not being asked for.
Sales tax is calculated at the secure checkout page and shown there before you confirm.
Because it would not be our promise to make. Your order moves on a carrier’s network, from a warehouse that is not ours, and built-to-order wheels are forged on the manufacturer’s schedule. We do not control any of those, so quoting you a date would mean guessing with your money.
What we will do instead is tell you what is actually happening. When the carrier issues a tracking number, we email it to you, and you can follow the shipment yourself from there. If something stalls, email us and we will chase it and tell you what we find — including when the answer is that we are waiting too.
If you need something by a particular date, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it looks achievable.
Check the delivery before you sign for it. Wheel sets move by freight and freight is where damage happens. If anything is dented, scuffed or crushed, note it on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and photograph it before the driver leaves. Damage recorded at delivery is far easier for us to put right.
If something arrives wrong, damaged or defective, we replace it or refund you and you pay nothing — including the return shipping. In the Denver metro we will collect it ourselves. The full terms are on our Returns page.
Email us before ordering if you are shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, a US territory, or an address a freight truck cannot easily reach. Those are all possible, but the carrier prices them differently and we would rather agree the cost with you than surprise you with it.
We cannot ship to a PO Box where the order moves by freight, and we do not currently ship outside the United States.
